Occ. light tuna or..: Tuna contains mercury which can be harmful for the developing baby. Some types of tuna have much more mercury than others- light tuna has less than albacore. Having about 2 cans of light tuna a week when pregnant seems safe. Yes: It's okay to eat can tuna but in limited quantities, such as no more than once or twice a week. The absolute no-no fish to stay away from are mackerel, shark, tile, and sword.
