See your surgeon: Recurrent hernia's can occur and it would be best managed by your surgeon. Surgical correction is usually the best option. Schedule an appointment with your surgeon.

Recurs? : Any hernia can recur. If it does, there is benefit to seeing a surgeon to repair it again. Without repair, hernias tend to grow, become symptomatic and risk becoming badly tangled (incarcerated) or even may cut off their own blood flow to become gangrenous (strangulated).
