By hhsone: I'm assuming you mean hydrocortisone. This wouldn't be the best answer for longterm use. Instead, i'd use Retin-A and perhaps a bleaching cream, like hydroquinone. The obagi system combines both in an easy-to-use approach.

No: Steroid creams should not be used on the face unless it is very necessary. They can caused permanent changes to the skin and more delicate skin like the facial skin is at higher risk for these changes. They can also lighten the skin color as well which would be more visible on the face. There are other ways to treat wrinkles if you are evaluated by a physician.
