Limited: A drug called n-acetyl cysteine in doses of 200 mg three times daily may be of benefit, but has not been validated in large studies. Supplemental oxygen may be helpful for patients already low in oxygen saturation. Getting an oximeter from walgreens or rei may help determine your oxygen level.
