Depo is good: If you've been on depoprovera for more than a couple of weeks, you have excellent contraception--you are very unlikely to have gotten pregnant. "the guy" could offer you a variety of std's since there is no mention of a condom. Depoprovera offers no protection against sexually transmitted infections. Some bleeding on Depo-Provera is common and does indicate less effectiveness as birth control.
