SI Joint Dysfunction: Ablation may help relieve your pain for sometime especially if you've had a good response to si joint injection. Permanent solution may require surgery. Some orthopedic surgeons offer minimally invasive surgery and the results seem to be favorable. Good luck.

Prolotherapy: Ablation is for control of nerve pain. Prolotherapy is an injection technique to stimulate ligament healing and stability. It is commonly used for sacroiliac joint problems. The healing will be permanent. Seek a physician with experience in both prolotherapy and manual medicine techniques.
