A member asked:

My doctor told me that i can't have sex due to the risk of getting pregnant as i'm on carbimazole, but is it okay to use a condom or go on the pill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See my report: Carbimazole can cross the placenta hence causing thyroid problems for the infant it is also transmitted through milk. The pill and the condum do prevent pregnancy, if used properly so caution need to be exercised.
