Lose weight by diet: Elevated cholesterol may be caused by genes and by diet. We can not change hereditary factors. As for diet reduce and eliminate sugar and fat of any kind , starches which includes bread, pasta, potato , rice. Try to lose weight and excercise . I am sure your numbers will come down. If its in normal range then you succeed.
