Burning: Burning usually indicates a nerve condition fibromyalgia is usually muscle tender points you may want to get EMG done to see your nerve function.

Yes: Yes. If trigger points are not present, but you are tender anywhere touched, that is not fibromyalgia. However, with generalized tenderness, thyroid status is essential to assess.
