EDEMA: Of the lower extremities can be from CHF or incompeetent veins and veinous insufficiency related to current or old clots. When associated with sob, would worry about chf. However, she could have incompetent veins and pulmonary hypertension. She should see a heart doctor and if not diagnosed a lung doctor.
