Depends: You can get hepatitis b through sexually, blood to blood contact and during birth . In us and other developed countries, because of universal vaccination and screening, hepatitis b during birth and through blood product is exceedingly rare. If you are not immune, and get exposed to this virus, there is 5 to 10% chance of chronic liver disease from this virus.
