Gastritis: Your stomach is usually on the left side of your abdomen, and your liver is on the right. If you have unbearable pain when drinking alcohol, you could have an inflamed stomach (gastritis) causing the pain. If you continue drinking this will get worse, and possibly bleed. If the pain does not subside within a day of not drinking, please see your physician.
