Practice wash hands: Best way to stay healthy is to wash one's hands. Cough & sneeze into crook (inside) of elbow rather than onto hands. Wash hands (discreetly) after shaking hands. Use paper towels to turn off faucet & open doors. Avoid anyone who is obviously sick (i know that sounds rude but . . .). Eat right. Exercise regularly. Get plenty of sleep. These are general recommendations for all ages, not just 4yo.

Pattern of infection: A virtual appointment is available at HT. Frequent infections may be normal at this age, when the immune system is developing. A yearly flu vaccination and good hygiene is recommended. Unusual infections, prolonged or difficult to treat infections may indicate an underlying immune defect or other problem.
