My dad complains that he keeps smelling something that smells bad in the apt., but i don't smell what he smells. could this be a ghost smell?

Bad smell: One of you has a problem with their nose, he may have chronic sinusitis and he smells a bad smell and no one else can, or you have nasal congestion that affects your sense of smell and you cannot smell well. One of you has to get checked to see what is going on, depending on your symptoms.

Unless you have : other evidence of a ghost, I dont think so. Make sure the house and home is physically safe and has no problems like mold or other fungus growing there.
