Body odor: 32 person of unknown gender or medical Hx. Asks: Which type of doctor specializes in body odor problems? ANS: Always start with your personal physician. Explain the problem and let them smell you. Some smells are diagnostic of certain illnesses. For example anytime I smell alcohol on a patient's breath I am certain they are an alcoholic. If I smell tobacco I suspect they are a smoker.
