Not fat per se: Very obese people have folds of skin that are hard to reach and may have trouble bending deeply to reach their lower parts. Hygiene can be a problem. Self esteem is often reduced - this may be reflected for some in less frequent laundering of clothes. Reaching the feet can be very problematic. Fungal infections may flourish in warm, moist skin folds. It's not the adipose tissue per se.
