Neuroma: Morton's neuroma has traditionally been treated with a corticosteroid injection which does help but often can be shortlived. One of the more latest effective treatments has been sclerosing alcohol injections. This injection therapy is typically given every 2 weeks for 3-7 injections. If this fails surgery to remove the neuroma is often needed. Wear wider shoes and avoid high heels will also help.

Pads, injection, OR: Metatarsal or neuroma pads (see hapad.Com) help to offload the neuroma and are effective and cheap. A cortisone injection may help long term, but usually is just temporary relief. Surgery is most definitive and long lasting relief but only if symptoms are severe.
