How should i treat febrile seizure?

Self Resolve: Febrile seizure can happen in young children when their temperature rises rapidly. It is usually brief, and generalized (affects the entire body). There's no long term consequences. Febrile seizure that lasts longer than 5 minutes or starts/affects just one part of the body needs medical attention.

Needs evaluation: Febrile seizures may occur in association with any degree of fever in children from 6months to 5 years. If your child has a seizure you should take steps to maintain their airway and seek medical attention immediately as although febrile seizures require no treatment there are other conditions that cause seizures that require immediate treatment.
