Personalized not new: Medicine has always been personalized. We have personalized based on age, disease, co-morbidities (other medical problems), preferences, etc. We can now personalize more with molecular tests and a larger quiver of therapeutic arrows. Many tests are needed for myeloma (mm) which may include: bone marrow biopsy, blood tests (spep, flc, b2m, cbc, cmp, etc), pet, mri, etc. Talk to your cancer doc.
