What would doctors recommend to help with scars on my legs?

Scars: In order to answer this question it would be important to know why the scars are there. And indeed if they are scars, or are they just arias of pigment deposition caused by some problem in the skin? Without knowing the cause of these, they're look, location, or reasons for being, it is impossible to tell you how to get rid of them or whether they'll lighten naturally.
