Yes: The hormones of a menstrual cycle can definitely cause changes in your gastrointestinal tract as well. Most commonly causing loose stools, more frequent stools, and even diarrhea. If you have a fever or if loose stools persist for more than 3-4 days, see a doctor. Otherwise, completely normal.
