Bacterial Infection: Botulism is a serious bacterial infection which leads to paralysis. You can acquire it through multiple means (food, in a wound, baby's can ingest the spore, etc.). All forms are considered serious and can be fatal. Please seek medical attention immediately if you are concerned. See the cdc site for more info: http://www.Cdc.Gov/nczved/divisions/dfbmd/diseases/botulism/.
