IBS Dx & Tx : Ibs is not defined by blood tests, imaging or other diagnostic tests & most don't need any of these tests. Depending on the specific symptoms, abdominal imaging, endoscopy & stool studies may be needed, not to diagnose ibs, but to rule out other possibilities.
