2 answers: Depends what you mean by "last." if you mean how long does it have an effect or "work, " it's done and over that same cycle if you haven't gotten pregnant. You start over. On the other hand, metabolites (leftover, inactive, byproducts) are still excreted - i believe - up to 5-6 months after taking the drug.
