Multiple Reasons: You may want to get it checked out by a doctor but make sure that your music isn't playing too loud, that you clean your ears. You may also have contact dermatitis but it is very hard to say since I am not there to actually see if there is a reaction.

Ear discomfort: You may be exposed to music excessively especially if it's heavy rock music. There may be some nerve irritation that takes place. Try to control your music time exposure and see if it feels better. If not, get it checked.
