Yes: Enough stress might trigger feelings out of control. Look at things that helped you cope with stress in the past. Identify things you can/cannot control -- it will ease your anxiety. Practice sleep hygiene, relaxation, balanced nutrition, self-care. Enlist a help of a psychologist to help you discover new coping strategies. Good luck!
