Likely: Generally you will get a period 2 weeks after you ovulate. Most of the time if it does not come with in a few days of that it either means you did not ovulate, are pregnant or have a cyst.

A 24-year-old female asked:
Can you ovulate in the beginning of the month or when you miss you period ?

Ovulation timing: If you miss your period, it's difficult to time ovulation. If you're notaking hormones or birth control pills, missing a period means that you're either pregnant or didn't ovulate on time. You shoudl do a pregancy test and, if negative, see your doctor if your period doesn't start.
