BLE edema : This degree of dependent edema or edema from venous insufficiency is less likely in a 24 yr old. Profile lists 2 meda which may provide further information. Ibuprofen/nsaids can cause edema & variables unique to you may explain why this would be the case. Synthroid (thyroxine) could indicate hypothyroid under treatment or pretibital myxedema. Many internal causes are possible that your dr could assess for.

Get checked: Swelling and pain in the ankles can be caused by multiple things such as diet, blood pressure, kidney function, circulation, nerves, injury, previous surgery...Basically many things. You need to see your primary doctor and jot down more info about when do you notice the swelling, does it every go down, when does it hurt, what is your diet, etc. Get checked.
