Probably: Many women have increased swelling from fluid retention prior to menses and as the extracellular fluid moves back into the blood stream, increased urination will occur. This is the basis for using "water pills" for premenstrual fluid retention. That is a simple answer so i hope it helps. Of course infection and other more serious issues may be occurring.
