Never totally safe: The one thing i see with young women is that they assume that birth control is perfect. Remember that the only 100 percent guarantee is abstinence. Depot should be 98-99 percent. So, 1 out of every 17 year old on depot will get pregnant. You should demand condoms also be used to help improve contraception as well as decrease risk of stds. You should be 99 % protected . If in doubt, do a test.
