Insulin resistant: Pcos, old term for Insulin resistance is a prediabetic state. By working hard, keep your weight as normal for your height as possible. If your weight goes up, the Insulin resistance worsens as do the symptoms. Some doctors will start you on metformin to help. Talk to your doctor about this to see what the best treatment plan is for you.
