Are tension headaches associated with aneurysms?

No: Muscle tension headaches are caused by the muscles in the neck and shoulder area tightening up and spasming, putting a tension pull on the skull and scalp creating a headache. They are not caused by an aneurysm.

Not the same: Tension headaches arise within the muscles around your scalp & neck. Aneurysms may cause no symptoms at all for a long time. When they bleed though, the person may describe the headache as the worst s/he's ever experienced in her/his life. The latter would also have associated neurological symptoms & signs, along with definitive findings on cat & MRI scans.
