Many reasons: There could be a number of reasons for your toddlers poor sleep habits. We all wake up many times a night, but our body realizes it is not time to get up, so we self soothe ourselves back to sleep. Your child is having difficulty doing this. It could be something medical, or could be something psychological like nightmares or separation anxiety. There are great pediatricians at mcow/chow to help!
