School physical: Usually school physicals are brief and focused in order to detect any obvious abnormality of the heart, lungs, abdomen, or nervous system. It is a basic exam that takes a few minutes, and the physician usually will listen to the heart and lungs, and feel the abdomen, then test the muscles and joints. They should also ensure the child has the correct vaccines completed.
