Hepatitis b: Any hepatitis virus that damages the liver can prevent the liver from performing it's normal functions. If enough liver cells are damaged by the virus - the liver will not be able to process and eliminate bilirubin. When levels of bilirubin are high enough, will 'show up' or be visible as yellow color in the skin and eyes. Not a good sign.
