UTI: Cystitis is a clinical diagnosis supported by lab evidence. If there is no clinical evidence the need for the urine analysis or culture should be in question. Need more info.

Bacteruria no inflam: With bacteruria, bacteria can be present & multiply in bladder without causing any inflammation & can be symptom free. Some patients only notice urinary malodor, which in fact is a symptom of uti. Presence of pus/white blood cells, in addition to bacteria is required by some drs. Before bacteruria is labelled a uti. Another possible explanation is individual variability in experiencing symptoms.
