See a Dentist ASAP: Tooth pain can be the result of many things. The must common causes of dental (tooth) are caries and periodontal diseases. But trauma to a tooth after being hit in the face or as a result of bruxism (clenching and/or grinding your teeth) are also common causes of tooth pain. The exposure to the environment in the mouth of the tubules in dentin can also cause pain. Etc. See a dentist soon!

Tooth pain: Where is it- top or bottom teeth? Front or back teeth? How long does it last ? What starts it-chewing, hot or cold drinks? Is it in the gums? When does it occur- morning or night or all day?- you need to tell us more to help you out.

Dental diagnosis: See a dentist to determine the cause of the pain. A clinical exam, x-rays and some tests can determine what is causing your pain.
