Is it safe to drink a beer during my pregnancy?

Dude?: "a" beer means just that, one and not 12 or a "40" etc. Occasionally, it will not have deleterious effect on partner's pregnancy. No one knows how much is too much, so best for baby to avoid alcohol whenever possible--you can survive 9 months on "near-beer" or no beer.
