Hyperfocusing: This could be hyper focusing if you have add or adhd. It could be the accelerated thinking of generalized anxiety disorder, or, less likely, the racing thoughts of bipolar disorder. It could also simply represent the excitement of dealing with an interesting task.

Depends: If this is something completely new for you but is affecting your focus at work or school you would not typically consider add. This is a disorder that presents before the age of 7. If this is new but is not having negative impact on work or school may not be a concern and potentially helpful. A much more thorough history is needed to consider diagnosis.

Racing thoughts can possibly be due to manic disorder, but it wouldn't show up by itself. Do you also have a decreased need for sleep, much more energy than usual, feelings of euphoria or frequent irratability? If you do have many/most of these symptoms I suggest you see a psychiatrist ASAP. Manic symptoms sometimes seem like a good thing, but it can get out of control and cause bigger problems
