Should be low: Generally, the rapid heart rate triggered in pots should be a sinus tachycardia--i.e., a normal rhythm but an inappropriately rapid rate. Sinus tachycardia may be unpleasant, but generally shouldn't be dangerous in the absence of other underlying disease (like severe coronary artery disease for instance).
