Cold/allergy meds: Decongestants and anti-histamines but decongestants can worsen anxiety. Both tend to dry out secretions. Older otc anti-histamines (short acting) dry out more (such as diphenhydramine) but may worsen memory and cause drowsiness.

Non: Drooling is big psychological concern. No otc medication is effective. You need constant effort to close your mouth and swallow your saliva regularly . A speech therapist will help teach you what to do. Practice closing your mouth and swallowing your saliva regularly.
