Bibs: Most babies drool a lot when they are teething and a bib is the best management. There are not any meds that are recommended as this is a phase due to teething. If your baby is really nonstop drooling, then i would have your pediatrician examine the baby to make sure there is not another issue.

Bibs and wipedowns: I consider drooling as a marker for the level of social conscience of an infant. What a wonderful freedom not to worry about your appearance.Yes it increases with teething or mouth or gum irritation, but really reflects a disintrest in swallowing the extra volume. As the child develops social awareness they will stop.Your repeated wipedowns will help them learn what you expect from them.
