7 days - finish meds: There's no way to cure urethritis any faster, not even by increasing antibiotic dose. Of course, you can increase your risk for developing resistance by not finishing your course of antibiotics. You'll feel better before you finish but that doesn't mean you can save remainder for your next infection. I cannot overstress that you need to finish your antibiotics. Prevent next one by using condoms.
