How to get pregnant?: Please here are some basic facts that every female should know: 1. You can only get pregnant when you ovulate. 2. Ovulation often occurs about day 14 to 18 of your cycle (this is general and not specific to you). 3. I cannot be more specific given that you did not share what length your periods are normally, but five days before and after sound like they are not when you would be ovulating.
