DepoProvera: Not everyone bleeds or spots on depoprovera. And just because you've just started doesn't mean you're pregnant. It could be that you've now joined everyone else to start spotting. As long as you get your shot ever 3 months, it's really effective at preventing pregnancies. However, you don't want to take it for more than 2 years as it's linked to loss of bone strength (bone mineral density).
