What are the most common symptoms of compression neuropathies?

Numbness and tinglin: The term compression neuropathy refers to conditions in which the peripheral nerves (the nerves that are out in the limbs, arms and legs) are compressed or squeezed along their anatomic pathways. The most common compressive neuropathy is carpal tunnel syndrome in which the median nerve compressed at the wrist causing numbness and tingling in the fingers.

Numbness, tingling: Compression of nerves interferes with their circulation, causing numbness and tingling. When severe or chronic it can cause constant or permanent loss of sensation and muscle weakness.
