I am 28 weeks pregnant, i had anamaly scan @ my 21st wk. will hav next scan @ 30th wk. my friend who is pregnant says monthly scan is must.is it so?

No: If you and the baby are doing well and there are no specific risk factors then there is no need for monthly scans. Best of luck.

No: The anatomy scan at about 20 weeks is fine with additional sonograms only done to follow up any fetal anatomy not seen or to check growth or if there is a problem or if you are high risk for some reason. After 20 weeks, if the anatomy scan is normal and complete, any further scans would be at the discretion of your ob.
