A member asked:

What is a normal blood pressure for a 16 year old male that is 6 feet tall and weighs 150lbs. ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood pressure: There are two numbers involved when talking about blood pressures. An adolescent male of your size ideally has systolic (upper number) in the 110-120 range, and diastolic (lower number) in the 70's. Make sure pressure is taken properly - wrong size cuff, anxiety all kinds of things affect readings.
