SUPER unlikely: Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis is a very rare problem involving the hpv virus (usually type 6 or 11) in the airway. There are juvenile and adult forms. They most commonly present with breathing difficulties (tiring out quickly with activity) or hoarseness. I have never once heard of a patient with rrp complaining of an itchy throat. Reflux is still top contender, or maybe a food allergy.
