NEED FOR CUSHION!: Most shoes aren't always what is bad, usually it's the crummy insoles they come with! there are many possibe reasons that you may have painful feet, but try cushioning arch supports like spenco polysorb cross-trainers(http://www.Spenco.Com/products/footcare/poly-sorb). If these don't help, see a podiatrist.... Also try an otc anti-inflammatory, like aleve (naproxen).

See a podiatrist: Poor shoe fit and support are often the cause of foot pain. New shoes don't mean the correct shoe for you! podiatrists are the experts in foot and ankle problems and you need to see one for examination, evaluation, and treatment. Take all your shoes with you when you go for evaluation. Find a podiatrist nearby @ the american podiatric meidical association website, locator feature.
